WorldHope Corps mobilizes assets to serve the common good.
In partnership with WorldHope Corps Malawi and
WorldHope Corps Uganda, we have:
WATER & SANITATION:
Drilled over 90 village wells around Mzuzu, Malawi to provide clean drinking water to thousands of Malawians since 2008.
Distributed COVID Care kits to families during the lockdowns of 2020 and 2021.
Implemented cholera, malaria, and HIV/ AIDS mitigation projects in Malawi.
Drilled new borehole and installed community water system (purification system, tank, storefront and water points) in Katikara Trading Center in Uganda (2015-2023).
TRAINING & EDUCATION:
Provided scholarships for dozens of students to continue their secondary, university, and continuing education.
Built a Hope Scholarship House in Malawi to create a revenue stream for youth scholarships.
Opened two Hope Tailoring Schools for vocational training.
Provide on-going training in Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) also known as Shalom Skills training for community transformation.
COMMUNITY & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT:
Facilitated fair-trade coffee ventures in Uganda through the Shalom Coffee Co-Op.
Established two Shalom Coffee cooperatives.
Co-sponsored four annual soccer matches for over 2000 youth receiving HIV education, testing, and counseling
Supported small business development and women's empowerment through loans, grants, and training in Malawi and Uganda.
We are a faith-based organization and are motivated to serve God by serving the common good. The name and mission of WorldHope Corps are inspired by Jeremiah 29:7 and 29:11 -
“Seek the shalom of the city where I have sent you… and pray to the Lord on its behalf,
for in its shalom you will find your shalom.”
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.”
How Do We Work?

A thoughtful donor/advisor chooses to support an area of need within Water & Sanitation, Education & Training, or Community Development.

Funds are received, and once a project in the given area of need is ready to begin, WorldHope Corps transfers the gathered funds to the implementing partner and monitors progress.

WorldHope Corps works with partner projects to provide additional customized support (mobilizing assets) including training and technical assistance, and relational support.
